El cantautor de Sant Joan de Vilatorrada practica antifolk i folk punk va començar la seva carrera en solitari el setembre del 2007 i ja ha realitzat 200 actuacions fins al moment, tenint una agenda ben apretada a seguir. Compta però amb el bagatge d'un pas per diferents formacions d'estils de tota classe. Per una altra banda, una actuació al Primavera Sound 2008, dues gires pel Regne Unit, una per Nova Zelanda, una altra per França, Luxemburg, Alemanya i acaba de girar per Nova York on va tocar al festival d'antifolk del Sidewalk Cafè. A més a més, ha realitzat de teloner de Toby Goodshank, Robert Scott, Patrick Fitgerald, Chris Knox, The Wave Pictures, Simon Finn... El seu EP de debut "This is The Story of My Other Record" ja està disponible i el seu 1r àlbum s’espera per aquesta tardor.

Después de cuatro maquetas autoeditadas y una en directo en la sala Salamandra, The Missing Leech actuó el pasado día 1 de junio dentro de la fiesta de clausura del festival Primavera Sound 2008. El músico de la provincia de Barcelona practica antifolk y folk punk empezó su carrera en solitario el pasado septiembre y ya ha realizado unas 170 actuaciones hasta el momento. Cuenta con el bagaje previo de haber pasado por diferentes formaciones de diversos estilos musicales.
Ha girado por Inglaterra dos veces, Nueva Zelanda, Francia, Luxemburgo, Alemania y acaba de volver de gira de EEUU donde ha tocado en el festival de antifolk del Sidewalk Cafè. Además, ha realitzado de telonero de Toby Goodshank, Robert Scott, Patrick Fitgerald, Chris Knox, The Wave Pictures, Simon Finn...

March 2008 sees the musician with a busy agenda to follow and with many projects to complete and touring England for the first time.
In April 2008 He is confirmed to play at Primavera Sound Festival in June with the likes of: The Sonics,Devo,Mary Weiss, Public Enemy, Portishead or Dinosaur Jr. Between others. A New Zealand tour was carried out during summer in a 36 days' tour including 16 concerts with the likes of Chris Knox, Patrik Fitzgerald or Robert Scott, between others.
Tours in U.K., France, Germany, Luxembourg and U,S,A, followed.
The debut EP "This is The Story of My Other Record" was released in August 2009.

As you may or may not be aware SoundARC hold a charity gig every year at Club 85 in Hitchin in aid of the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, and this year we are going to try something a little different from previous years.
This year we are going to take over the club and host 37 acts in one weekend putting full bands upstairs and acoustic acts downstairs in an event that we are calling ARCfest!
It all starts on Friday 4th December at 7pm and then continues on through Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th from 12pm-11pm
As well as raising money for the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, ARCfest will showcase all the different genres of bands that we at SoundARC have come across over the last 4 and a half years. Over this weekend a lot of the acts that you will see don’t get a chance to play a great local venue like Club 85, So as well as hearing new music you will see all manors of genres and styles from acoustic - Metal - Indie - Rock - Punk - Electro - Ska - Funk - Hip Hop/Rap - Alternative - Rhythm & Blues - Reggae - Grunge and loads more that I cant remember!

Sur son dernier opus « I love you », Mathieu Boogaerts a misé sur la simplicité, l’essentiel en réduisant la voilure sonore : basse, batterie, guitare et synthé, basta. Une nouvelle route s’offre à lui : « Aujourd’hui, je n’ai pas envie qu’on me dise que la musique de I love You est belle, mais qu’elle est sexy ».
