About Mitchell Brothers: Rest In Peace Michael Jackson
The Mitchell Brothers, Teddy and Tony two cousins from East London, the very first signing to UK’s well renowned artist and producer Mike Skinner ‘The Streets’ Label ‘The Beats’ in 2004. In 2005 they both went on to making their first debut album ‘A breath Of Fresh Attire’ which has been rated as one of the freshest and innovative albums to date with songs like ‘Routine Check’ ‘Harvey Nicks’ and ‘Alone With The TV’… these songs projected them both as promising songwriters for the future.
Having also supported artists such as 50 Cent, Nelly, John Legend, Bloc Party, Fun Loving Criminals Calvin Harris and The Streets, they have proved to be more than just a support act but rather a main act....
with their big pounding chanting introduction (M.I.T.C.H.E.L.L), endless energy, spontaneity and great chemistry between each other they are every bit The Entertainers.
2007 saw the cousins go from strength to strength with another great effort their second album titled ‘Dressed For The Occasion’ still reminding us all of their love for Fashion …reinventing their sound and taking their writing and imaginations to another level with songs like ‘Sole Mate’ ‘Slap my Face’ featuring the ever fashionable Indie band Franz Ferdinand and who could forget the catchy song ‘Michael Jackson’ featuring the Electro Disco man himself Calvin Harris…etc.
2008 Saw The Mitchell Brothers depart from mentor/producer Mike Skinner (The Streets) and their Label home ‘The Beats’, this did not stop the brother’s hunger and love for the music, taking time out they have set about doing what they do best which is keeping it simply B.O.F.A (Breath of Fresh Attire) a new alias a new term for those who are not familiar.
They are the Mitchell Brothers AKA The B.O.F.A. Boyz.
