Formed in March 2006 by Michael Smith and Chris Heggie from the ashes of the sound. Michaels heart felt lyrics, fuelled by confusion and envy combined with Chris's quirky, unique guitar style proved a powerful mix. After writing a set of originals, Chris and Mike began the search for a rhythm section that could fill the void in their songs. After many changes Dan was found; his unusual drum rhythms and unorthodox style proved to be the missing link, giving The Modelz a pulse. But still something was missing, Slev was spotted in another band and they were immediately aware that his bass riffs would be a necessary part of the sound. After much rehearsal The Modelz exploded onto the stage stunning audiences all over London and creating much talk and a large fan base.
