Italian style meets british 2tone ! This slogan was choosen at the beginning of the band’s career and still be without doubts their best presentation. The band born in October 2005 , after few months they realized the first promo “ included the anthem Rudeboys in a dancefloor*first version*” and then they started to play in many clubs and festival for all the year. At the end of 2006 the band was in the recording studio to realize the first album...after few months , the first single “ Hooligan reggae” was burning on all the dancefloors of their city , and the Offenders’s fame grow up really quickly! In june 2007 “ Hooligan Reggae “ arrived in Germany….the Conehead Records decided to produce the first full length that will be relased the 30 of November 2007 , distributed in all the Europe and more … in the same time a big tour across the Germany started ( Berlin , Frankfourt , Dusseldorf , Gottingen and more ) , “ Hooligan Reggae – the album “ starts to become an European top seller in the underground ska scene. At the beginning of 2008 the original line up changed , Mattia ( one of the band’s founder with Valerio ) leaved the band but The Offenders won’t stop : after many years of backing vocal , Valerio becomes the lead voice and a new drummer takes his place.
The band will be on tour again across the Europe at the end of may , a lot of shows still confirmed ( Italy, Austria , France , Germany , Switzerland , Ireland and more..) and a 7” with 2 new songs will be relased soon always on Conehead Records….To be continued!!! The Offenders are : Valerio – voice ; Cenzino – bass and backing vocal ; David – Hammond – keyboard and backing vocal ; Nino “ Lo Zio “ – guitar and backing vocal – Checco – drum .
