First and foremost to clear up any confusion, I am a producer, not a singer or a rapper.......All the music on this page is produced by David Embree aka "The Optimist, Optimo, Hopscotch etc......" I write music, record music, collage music, and make inappropriate advances at music when im drunk. My production work ranges from Experimental Black Metal to West Coast Hip-Hop and everything in between. I have done remixes for The Sound of Animals Fighting, Nurses and various others. I just finished writing an original score with Matt Kelly (The Autumns, The Sound of Animals Fighting) for a film titled "Obituary of the Sun". I produced an entire record with Chapter One called The Last Writes "The First Chapter" and it is available on I-tunes, Rhapsody, Amazon, etc. Hochii and I just finished our project Damn Dirty Apes, where as I made all the beats and recorded and mixed the whole record.
