Joy Machine 1993 -1996 is considered by many to be one of the most important synthpop bands to come out of the 90's American music scene. Gaining a massive following with the release of their retrospective album "The best That Never Was" in 2000, they have been elevated to a status far above anything they saw during their days of recording in their basement studio in Danbury, CT. .... Singer Peter Riley is currently fronting the electronic pop act The Dossier as well as the Britpop inspired band Saintface (www.saintface.com).... Brothers Tim and Kris Heireth are currently recording their second full length album as Brand New Idol (www.brandnewidol.com).... Simon Matthews put down the synthesizers for a sucessful career as a Broadway sound designer/engineer and enjoys his life as the proud father of two...... -
