Bio
Lose yourself in a spectacular sixties show that features classic hits from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who, The Byrds, The Small Faces, The Hollies, The Everly Brothers, Bob Dylan and more - and promises 'satisfaction' every time. The Overtures present a faithful and dynamic tribute to pop's greatest decade. With their magnificent repertoire of over 400 songs they have rapidly built their reputation as the finest 60s tribute band in the country. You'll hear every aspect of sixties music from the early 'Merseybeat' of The Beatles and The Searchers through to the 'surf' sound of The Beach Boys - the rhythm and blues of The Rolling Stones to the folk-rock of The Byrds and The Mamas and The Papas - the close harmony of Simon and Garfunkel to the psychedelic power of Jimi Hendrix. Whether you are a 'Hippie', 'Mod' or 'Rocker', as Sergeant Pepper says ... "A splendid time is guaranteed for all!" .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ...... ..Myspace Editor.... ..Pimp MySpace.. .... ............Generate your own contact table!.... -

Greetings one an all... The Mick Green benefit concert
on Saturday 27th November 2010, will combine both commemoration and
charity. Mick was Paul McCartney's former guitarist also Brian Ferry's. Micks roots go back to Johnny Kid and the Pirates..This special event will be a outstanding night to remember with major
60's and 70's acts such as the Animals and Wilko Johnson (Dr Feelgood).
In addition to this, Mick's stage partner and best friend for nearly
fifty years, fellow Pirate Johnny Spence, will be performing Pirates
numbers with Mick's two sons (My brother-in-law Lloyd & Brad) and
drummer Mike Roberts. The benefit will provide charity to the British
Heart Foundation as well as a memorial to Mick. The venue, although a
central London location, has a strictly limited capacity and you are
advised to purchase tickets in advance. BOOK NOW: http://www.wegottickets.com/event/88265
