The band is selling off all t-shirt designs left over from our last tour, and I can promise that after they're gone you'll never see these re-printed.
All tees are printed on only the finest quality American Apparel shirts.
We're asking $5 apiece (less than they cost to make), plus $2 shipping.
Styles, colors and sizes are limited. All shirts are either Classic Girl "medium/one size" (fairly small, tapered at the waist) or Adult Medium (not big, not small).
Since playing their first show in 1999, under-sung San Francisco locals The Plus Ones have released two full-length albums, three EPs, completed nine national tours, performed a countless number of local shows, and have featured at least fourteen different band members. I think you'll agree, that's a lot of numbers.
The current line-up is comprised of singer-songwriter and bassist Joel Reader (formerly of The Mr. T Experience), long-time drummer Luis Illades (also of Pansy Division), almost-as-long-time guitarist John Speranza and not-at-all-long-time guitarist Luke Powell.
Their sound can be described as smart songs played at great volume. Some people say powerpop, some say indie rock, but the band themselves have been toying with a new phrase: American Britpop, which they define as, "the sound of an American band, trying to sound like a British band trying to sound like an American band."
The Plus Ones are still working on the exact wording.
Hi Joel, I remember hangin with you in the crowd before your set, while The Donnas were opening your show, at Club Laga in Pittsburgh, PA. This was at least 5 years ago, when you first formed The Plus Ones... I gave you a picture of us and you kept it with your other tour photos. Fun times at the Mr T Experience shows as well! Glad to see The Plus Ones are still together! :O) Miss you! XOXO

We are playing a benefit show this coming Wednesday, May 9th at Vino, located at 240 N. Sierra in downtown Reno, Nevada. This show is part of our local alternative radio station’s (KRZQ) “Spring Forward to Pay it Forward” benefit campaign. The organization we’re sponsoring is called ReStart, which “is a private nonprofit organization that offers many services targeted to individuals and families who are at risk and/or homeless in Washoe County. ReStart’s mission is to reduce and prevent homelessness and increase self-sufficiency of people who are homeless and their families.” If you live in or are going to be in the Reno area this coming Wednesday, please come to the show. The show starts at 9pm, is 21 and up, and admission is free. The Juvinals will be opening the show. Although the show is technically free, this is a “benefit” show so donations will not only be appreciated but expected as well. If you can’t make it to the show or do not live in the area, no worries, you can still help. Cut and paste this address into your browser: www.krzqfm.com/Article.asp?id=385948&spid= Once you’re there all you’ve got to do is click on our picture to be redirected to the ReStart donation page, make your donation, and feel good about yourself. It’s as easy as that! Thanks for reading this.

This is one of the absolute BEST power pop bands that has ever pushed a beat on stage. Sweet, strong, fast, and tight, just like I like it. If you've never seen them live, this is probably a good time to feel sorry for yourself.
I'm suddenly very excited to see you guys at Cafe Du Nord in April. Mainly cause the shirt I brought the first/last time I saw you play (way back in like 1998 or something at the Gilman) has gone missing and I will need to replace it. Oh and you're music is pretty good but I really really liked that shirt.
