   About The Polaroid Truth
Bio.

Jeni Magana has been playing upright bass since she was 14. She was classically trained and performed in several symphony orchestras and chamber groups in California. At age 18, she picked up and moved across the country to attend Berklee College of Music and has played several successful shows as a freelance bassist and singer, notably making several appearances with the Dropkick Murphy's on their past few tours and most recent album.

Jeff Fettig has been playing the guitar since he was 15 and played with several bands around the San Fransisco area including shows with then local The Matches and Plain White T's. While at Berklee College of Music, he formed a rock group that played several shows in the area. After a year of rock'n'roll, he realized he missed the sounds of acoustic music and so he picked up his acoustic guitar and started working on a new repretoire of songs.

True to their personalities, the music they write deals with some serious subjects, but always with wit and a little bit of humor. They manage to embody the best of folk, pop, classical, and rock in what they like to call "epic 3 minute pop songs." The Polaroid Truth is a relatively new venture, but is already gaining a following in the Boston area, as well as maintaining those connections established in California. They have already played some of the most notable club venues in Boston and are now returning to their home state for a summer tour. Book them for your show!

The Irish outlaw Reilly Ramones is not rambling along rainy green Irish valleys. This time he troubles the spotless under the hot Mexican sun and drowns Mariachi trumpets in Guinness.
Come and listen to the fine crossover of traditional irish tunes, Rock'n Roll and Hip Hop on the new album "Kind Of Green".

Jeff, was good to see ya drop by today. I'm 30-minutes from your gig on June 11th but it's in the midst of finals (one on the 11th and two on the 12th) so my attendance is doubtful.

Good to see you guys doing well - hopefully Robyn and I can catch ya somewhere this summer.

Was over at Robyn's when she got your friend request and listened to a song or two there... listened to them all a bit closer now that I'm home and I'm really impressed.

If that summer tour in CA happens we'll be sure to see ya at a gig. But for now stay warm over there in Boston =D. Take care.

Nov 26 2007 10:21 PM

hey.. we should play a gig together - also, i was wondering if i could borrow your bassist? Finally, I've a funny feeling we'd all jam really well in the key of E.

Okay, thats all the private jokes i could think of for right now. oooh, apart from, can we please cover the 'lets annoy Jeni blues in A flat' - i love that one.

Mark your calendar!

We’re capping off a great year with one final show at The Paradise Lounge. Join us as we headline The Paradise Lounge on THURSDAY DECEMBER 13th for the last time this year along with our friends Casey Desmond, The Boston Molasses Disaster, and Christopher James.

This will be a big show because we will be debuting songs from our new CD, which will be released in February and the two EPs that we have recorded this year.

We’d love if it you came out and partied with us.
More info is available on our profile but get in touch if you have any questions!

Stop by and listen to the new tunes if you haven’t.
We hope to see you there!
