The band that is the Quickfix has pretty much been around since early high school in one way or another, with different band members and different band names changing throughout with Paul, Scott and myself as the regulars. Other members have come and gone as we've tried to secure a line up that can play live and has the right creative energy. Right from the beginning we have prided ourselves on our songwriting and being original, not tied down to any particular genre and I think we have maintained this and only become better with time, age and experience in both music and life. We have created now countless demo tracks over the years and feel that now we have finally collected enough quality songs and ideas to make what should be a pretty kick arse album. The recording of the album is to commence in Summer 2010-2011 at Supersonic Recordings in St Kilda, Victoria. In the meantime its all about upgrading our intruments and continuing to gig as we promote our recently released demo EP. We have tours, t-shirts and side projects going on the cards for the band.
