OFFICIAL BIO:
The Rawluck Movement is comprised of 5 soldiers. Drex Inkredible, Remey, Tommy (The Grim Preacher), Audi and Gavin Sheppard (Gavatista). Young men focused on improving their own lives as well as those of the people they love. A family of friends that were talented in the word for years, it wasn’t until the passing of their close friend Donnie Rawluck that the group came together musically. Formed as a tribute to one of the hardest working, most generous souls to be ripped from this life to the next, The Rawluck Movement is a non-profit based group dedicated to spreading good music, strong messages and raising funds for the son Donnie left behind, Kadin Rawluck.
Using music as their vehicle, the group is hurtling to a place that equals great success or utter failure. There is no in-between in the world of extremes that is the Rawluck Movement. Scripting songs of faith, repentance, hope and despair, the movement is an accurate reflection of the slums these five friends come from, a reflection of the society that has bred them.
Awkward angels, the members of the group have gone through their fair share of trials and tribulations as are easily heard in the body of their music. With that said, the one overpowering theme behind their music would have to be hope. Hope for a better life, a better way to make money, a better world to raise kids in. There is always a vein of belief that things can get better coursing through the arteries of the music.
Getting set to release their first self-titled record “The Rawluck Movement”, the group is taking their messages of joy, hurt, hope, and struggle to the masses in the hopes of giving some peace of mind to others that are going through similar problems and with the goal of raising $10,000 for Kadin’s future education fund.
This movement is dedicated to the hard working and the hard living. Dedicated to those in front and behind us… to those smiling in our memories. This movement is dedicated to you and yours. To everyone that’s got a little bit of that raw luck in’em. Welcome.
