*Welcome to the Official MySpace page for the indie/alt experimental outfit Red Velvet. The Huntington,WV band is made up of brothers Jordan (bass/vox) and Jonathan Jefferson (drums/vox), along with allies Mark Davis (guitar) and Russ Fox (guitar/vox). The Red Velvet showcases spacious, beautifully charged music that ranges between dramatic and cathartic. After forming and releasing a short run of demo EPs in 2006, the group buckled down over the next year and began crafting and recording their 1st full length debut album "Lights Won't Go Out". The album is a web of multiple tunings and punchy rhythms that collide with classic walls of clean vs' fuzzy driven guitars. Their beats are at times dance infused and on-token unique. The Red Velvet fabricates a clever balance of intense songwriting and sharp arrangements that are bound together by strong, distinctive pop laden vocal hooks.
