"the rip outs are the last real teenage punk rock band alive! the dropkick murphy's should kiss the ground these guys walk on!TOTALLY KILLER! SICK GENERATION IS A CLASSIC!!!!!
your vocals are a dead ringer for the singer from the Screamers" ~ Kevin Prostitute, the Prostitutes!
If the briefs took a crap on a toy dolls record while the new york dolls and heart attacks beat off during a gay rights rally full of cross dressers being watched by the local polices who unknowingly are being targeted by iggy pop with a rifle from a nearby 12th story window...that record would problly turn into a ripouts record. ~ JP Hood (the Alert. ex-many)
Thanks to KEVIN MCGOVERN from the Prostitutes for all his help!
If you still think we're working on an album you're naive. Someone was nice enough to give us a ton of money---I don't know what happened to it because I never saw it. Sorry! I wish I could give it back to you.
The Ripouts Sick Generation EP $7.99
The RipOuts, like so many things in life, began as an idea. The line up began in 2003 with Conley Chlamydia on vocals and guitar, Toasty Paperweight on drums, and Aaron on bass. This line up never played a real show. By summer we began to drift apart from Aaron. Sadly and eventually musical difference forced our parting of ways. However we are now quite on good terms.
Later a lovely invention called the internet hooked us up with a kid named Kevin, who became the guitarist. The American tradition of shopping malls hooked us up with a kid named Soap to play bass. However musical differences along with different wants out of the band resulted in us losing our second bassist. Finally long time friend Roxie took the position of bassist, and we've kept her ever since. In 2006, the Sick Generation EP was released, and we began playing shows. Over a year later, we are now again in the studio, begining work on a new, yet untitled album. We've shared the stage with bands such as the Queers, the Heart Attacks, and the Riptides. Hopefully, if we don't explode, there will be more.
