"Musica da Batticuore" - music that makes your heart beat faster as if you just fell in love - that is what we love and how our mixtapes of underground elecronic space and italo disco vinyl classics are called.

Through the mixes, we are paying a homage to the world's best electronic space disco artists and producers from the late 70s till 1984. Most of them were completely overseen, remained unrecognized for their outstanding work which unfortunately was neither known, let alone valued until today to its merited extent.
We hope we can change this a little bit, as even 30 years later their music still sounds ahead of its time. Therefore we hope our mixes please many of today's electronic music listeners and hope they influence some djs and producers as well, as the classic "electronic space disco" sound is one of the most driving, grooviest and sexiest styles dance music has ever experienced.

About us:
Already back in 1984, we were passionate Italo Disco DJs. At high school parties, friend's birthdays and in smaller clubs we played the early underground Italo Electro Disco tracks from 1982-84, with their minimalistic sounds, driving basslines, spaced out melodies and chilled out 110-122 BPM. We spent every cent on these amazing and amazingly rare records...
Today, as "The Robot Scientists", we create mixtapes for friends called "Musica da Batticuore" with sleazy, driving, futuristic electro space disco classics, but also with some minimal synth, new wave, electro and cosmic disco classics and NuItalo tracks.
We are old school, we own of loads of original and obscure vinyls - and we mix them live when recording our mixtapes. Apart from creating live mixes, we are DJs and produce edits and remixes.
