Il 2009 è stato un ottimo anno dal punto di vista musicale, tante belle reunion e tantissimi tour europei davvero interessanti, non c’è che dire. Ma forse il meglio deve ancora arrivare, come questo pacchetto targato Relapse Records, che vede tra le sue fila niente meno che i Buried Inside e i Tombs.
Nel 2005 i Buried Inside hanno fatto il botto grazie a Chronoclast, e nel marzo 2009 si sono superati, grazie a Spoils Of Failure, un album che semplicemente rasenta la perfezione. Violentissimo metalcore e post hardcore che fa dell’aggressività il suo motto, un sound in grado di distruggere e incenerire qualsiasi cosa si trovi sulla sua strada. Ma non dimentichiamo, i Buried Inside non sono solo sinonimo di ottimi album: sul palco i cinque canadesi si trasformano in vere macchine da guerra, sparano a zero un pezzo dopo l’altro, non lasciando un attimo di respiro al pubblico già stremato. In una parola, devastanti.
