It's been over a decade since their incarnation during the Grunge years, and still The SemiToneS continue to evolve and improve. Their sound: take Korn's and Meshuggah's heaviness, add it to the pop melodies of Incubus and Feeder, and you have the mixture that's most identifiable about this modern hard-rock band. These two extremes unite with a balance that makes The SemiToneS equally appealing both to heavy metal fans and pop lovers. Having perfected the art of blending influences and dynamics, their songs flow smoothly and naturally. The SemiToneS emphasize dynamics, contrast and diversity with a sound and identity that are immediately recognizable. Their lyrics tackle a wide variety of topics often sarcastically while reflecting on everyday issues. A 4-track Ep followed by two albums distributed internationally gave The SemiToneS the opportunity to become well known, sell a few thousand CDs, while playing many European venues and festivals. With years of stage experience, the band has acquired a very good reputation as a live band.
