Born in 1974, Jason Thomas Cammarata was a music lover from birth. A victim of his parents record collection. Exposed early on to Barbara Striesand, The Captain and Tennielle and Barry Manilow by his mother and Bob Marley, Kenny Rogers and Lionel Ritchie by his father, It was his Uncle who made the most lasting impact, introducing him to favorites like Aerosmith, AC/DC, The Cars, Led Zeppelin, John Cougar, Billy Idol and Duran Duran among others. Obtaining his first guitar at 14, he went through a brief hair-metal phase that ended upon his encounter with bands like The Ramones, Fugazi, and Jane's Addiction. He began his first band Suburban Tribe in 1991. Went solo in '93 with the Lo-Fi stalwart Goat Boy Sound. Played Bass in Disappointed (with TW Walsh and Brian Michael Roff) played bass and guitar in Walsh's solo band and briefly tour managed Pedro The Lion. He recorded an album as The Majorettes in 2004. Tracks from those sessions will be re-worked for The Seventh Bend's debut EP.
