Hello, we're The Severed Limb. A contemporary skiffle band from London who play original material with a country twang and a rockabilly twist. We've recently played prestigious support slots with Kitty, Daisy and Lewis and also with Imelda May during the London legs of her last two UK tours (at Bush Hall and Koko). Imelda May has listed us as one of her top 6 favourite bands!
In 2009 will played several festivals including Latitude, one at the Tate Modern, and the Big Chill. We're currently working on an album with rockabilly star Darrel Higham to be rleased on his Ambassador Records label!
In the new year we're going to cut a single with Lewis Durham (Kitty, Daisy and Lewis) to be released on vinyl. We're also recording an exclusive track for a Bethnal Green Working men's Club compilation.
