We are The Shake Ups, a San Diego-based rock & roll band. Our music combines elements of indie rock, power pop, classic alternative, and even a little folk, punk, and new wave. Two of us have been playing in bands together for about 13 years now. The Shake Ups formed in early 2005, and we released our debut album, A TWIST OF LEMON, in the Spring of 2006. Our new album, BREATHING THE FLOOD, will be available September 1st!
The new song sounds like a herd of wildebeasts swinging from left to right. I mean, it's just amazing. I feel compelled to keep saying really nice things about you guys!
.. Hi there The Shake Ups first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
Many people wanted to use us in the future so if you were one of those people you can click the link below to visit our profile which wlil provide you with more information and also give you the link to our website! Hey guys, thanks for the add. "Enemy Within" is my favorite, and "Gimmer to Squint" is so Shin-ish. All of your songs are fantastic, which isn't always the case. Keep up the good work. :]
Hey, thanks for solving the mystery and your kind words too on my music. Aberfeldy are really good. One of the best Scots pop groups. I've only their second album with "uptight"on it. best wishes again.i look forward to hearing more tunes from you.
Hey, Kara from Glasgow, Scotland here. Delighted to add you. How on earth did you find me here. Hope you like the tunes on my page. 'You've got the number' sounds like it should be a number 1. Great pop song.
