I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4 The Shivering Denizens are a Roots Country band that mixes it up with Honky Tonky, Country Western, Rockabilly and the attitude of Punk and Outlaw Country. The Current lineup is Ronnie Banner on vocals and acoustic guitar, Fred Speakman on lead guitar, Oil Can Henry on Stand up Bass and Bob The Painter on the drums. Ronnie and Fred also play in the Heavy Metal band, Zero Down. Henry played with Go Like Hell and is currently playing with The Trip Sixes(members of Go Like Hell and Plaster)
Bob The Painter has never played in a rocknroll band....Thank God!!!! He gives The Denizens an authentic sound that seperates them from other "Rockers Gone Country." Mixing it up with originals and covers, these Northwest Hillbillies will keep you two steppin till your souls wear off your feet. We will have some new tunes up soon.
Thanks fer addin' us to yer friends, lads...all the best to ya!…do c'mon out an' see us sometime...Boys of Greenwood Glen, a drinkin' band with an Irish problem …
Life is great down here in OZ. I rode my motorbike up to Yanchep a couple days ago to see the koalas. I swim in the Indian Ocean every day after work. Could be worse. Still shivering?

last thursday afternoon i went on to the comedy underground website, trying to find out who was performing that night - after navigating through the site, i found that there was a stand-up comedy class that was starting that night, so i signed up to find that there were going to be three nights of classes and then we would be performing a 5 minute set at the comedy underground.
stand-up is something that i always wanted to do, but after only two short nights of class, it is safe to say that it is not easy and it scares me.
there will be 16 of us performing a big show down at the comedy underground this coming thursday, at 8:30 pm.
it costs $10 - there is no age limit and no drink minimum 222 s main st pioneer square
if this seems like something that might work for you, please consider coming down and supporting my act - yell, scream, clap, laugh it up - even if it sucks! that's what friends do for each other.
