The Silent Escape is no stranger to change. Both the group itself and the members within have gone through constant changes since the bands inception. The adversities they have experienced have ranged from band name and lineup changes, to homelessness and personal tragedy. The very heart of the band, however, lies in the friendship of its members, their beliefs, and their loyalty to the cause of pursuing the life they love. The Silent Escape is more than a band; its a mission. Their mission is this: to use their talents and passions for the creation of music to sustain them and ensure for them a chance to break away from the lives they hate. To avoid the serious and unwanted outcome of a life of mediocrity is paramount. To break loose from the confinement of poverty and a coldhearted music scene and leave it behind without a single word or care is their reality. To these five individuals, few goals are more worthy of pursuit than this. The Silent Escape are lighthearted individuals who create music because they love it. Their energetic live show exemplifies their positive nature and unwillingness to submit to the self-absorption they witness in their peers. Underneath, however, lies a tangible urgency, and a seriousness of artistic expression.
