La nascita musicale di LILITH è datata 1981 con l'esordio su un palco con i Not Moving con cui vive 8 anni di intensa attività concertistica e discografica.
Due 45 , due Mini LP ,due LP , numerose partecipazioni a compilations e poi centinaia e centinaia di concerti in Italia e mezza Europa , passaggi radiofonici e televisivi alla RAI , alla BBC , in Germania.
Nel 1988 la scissione dai Not Moving avvia la carriera solista con il miniLP "Hello I love me" che segna il passaggio dalle furiose atmosfere elettriche dei Not Moving a suoni più acustici .
Seguiranno due album e un altro mini LP tra blues , punk , rock e folk.
Dopo una lunga pausa nel 2005 torna sui palchi per una breve reunion dei Not Moving , mentre entra in studio per produrre il nuovo album "The black lady and the sinnersaints" preceduto , nel febbraio 2007 dal singolo "I need somebody" Il nuovo album "The black lady and the Sinnersaints" (AlphaSouth Records) , disponibile da febbraio 2008, vede la collaborazione di Santo Niente , Giovanni Ferrario, Julie's Haircut , Francois Regis Cambuzat , Peluqueria Hernandez, Temponauts , Tav Falco , Tony Face , Paolo Negri , Luigi Betty Blue Milani, Massimo Vercesi
L'album ha ricevuto ampio consenso di critica e pubblico (vedi la rassegna stampa su www.lilithandthesinnersaints.com) e il tour iniziato ad aprile è culminato in luglio aprendo per Cristina Donà e Siouxsie al "Metarock" di Pisa.
Musically born in the 81 playing punk n roll with Not Moving , one of the most important italian bands of the 80's. Tour all over Italy and Europe , supporting Clash , J.Thunders , Celibate Rifles , Stooges, appearing on both Italian National Televison (RAI) and BBC. After the split of the band in 1988 she started her own solo career playing a mix of blues , punk , folk and cabaret , recording two albums and playing hundreds of gigs in Italy and Europe (also with Tav Falco and Elliott Murphy). After a long break she jumped on stage again in 2005 on a Not Moving reunion tour , recorded a new single , "I need somebody" in spring 2007 and is now ready the new album "The black lady and the sinnersaints" (www.alphasouth.it: A long tour followe the release of the album also including the Metarock Festival in Pisa supporting Siouxsie

Cara Rita Lilith & Sinnersaints... la prima volta che ho scoperto e apprezzato
la tua musica è stata al tempo dei Not Moving ... poi ho continuato a seguire
la tua carriera solista come Lilith (ho tutti i dischi.. adoro le atmosfere che si respirano in questa musica .. e sono stato a tanti vostri concerti).
Purtroppo mi sono fermato a "Stracci" ma ora vedrò di colmare questo tempo trascorso.. con i Sinnersaints. A proposito, dove posso trovare i vostri dischi?
Musicalmente parlando sono molto aperto ma distinguo sempre i miei ascolti dalla mia attività musicale nel senso che amo ascoltare molte cose dal jazz al punk
alla psichedelia al folk, blues... ma quando suono so fare solo sporco rock'n'roll!
Erano anni che non suonavo dal vivo ed ora mi è capitato di passare dalla chitarra
al basso per una band americana chiamata The China Dolls (gente che ha un passato di tutto rispetto)... domani li raggiungo a Londra per un breve tour.
Continuo ad aspettarmi... Mi guardo e sono sempre uguale. Eppure cambio i miei vestiti tutti i giorni. Dovrei fare qualcosa ma continuo a pensare di fare qualcosa. Fermo. Immobile. Lavo i miei vestiti. Metto addosso quello del lunedì il lunedì successivo. Devo fare qualcosa, qualsiasi cosa... Ci penso.
