"...the songs all seem to share a timeless quality: Referencing a rural life filled with old trees by rivers, harvest moons, circus big tops, and even Civil War imagery, the songs seem to inhabit an America long since gone" Michael Katzif of NPR on "Old North"
"...a richly textured journey filled with surprising twists -- or perhaps slants -- ranging all the way from Southern Gothic folk to chamber pop to a trance instrumental. Think Dylan in the basement with the Band, with Radiohead dropping by." -Scott Mervis of Pittsburgh Post-Gazette on "Old North"

Thanks SO much for the add and the kind words! We're currently working on a full length of our own, and we're very blessed to have a musician and friend the caliber of Jimmy to be playing with us.
If you happen to make it down to the artworks on Saturday, be sure to say hello! We'd all love to meet another friend of Jim's!
I was browsing through CD Baby late last night, just looking for something new and intriguing, when I came across y'all guys. Certainly both new and intriguing. The experimentalism on Makings of This House is splendid stuff, just the sort of found sound that I've wanted to mess around with for some time now. Addictive, even, these songs. Thanks for the add!
