The Slivers son gritos, son melodía, son distorsión. Influenciados por el sonido Seattle, adictos de los 90’, hermanos pequeños de la Generación X, comienzan a gestarse a mediados de 2005, aunque no es hasta 2007 cuando salen de su útero particular para empezar a moverse entre el gentío de Zaragoza.
Sus influencias son claras destacando a grupos como Foo Fighters, Muse, Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age, Nothink, The Vines, Radiohead, The Offspring, The Smashing Pumpkins, Oasis, Green Day y un par de decenas más.
En enero de 2009 publican su primer EP titulado “Sounds of a mirage” donde muestran con 5 temas su dirección actual como banda más dos canciones grabadas en 2007 a modo de bonus.
The Slivers are shouts, melody, distorsion. Influenced by the sound of Seattle, addicted to 90..s, younger brothers of the X Generation, they arise in the middle of 2005, but it..s after 2007 when they come out from their particular uterus and start moving among the crowd of Zaragoza.
Their influences are clear, emphasizing groups as Foo Fighters, Muse, Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age, Nothink, The Vines, Radiohead, The Offspring, The Smashing Pumpkins, Oasis, Green Day and some tens more.
In January 2009 they edit their first EP, titled “Sounds of a mirage”, in which they show with five songs their current direction as band, plus two more songs recorded in 2007 as bonus tracks.
