The Small Change is a collaboration between Greg Collinsworth, Doug Stevens, Jason Toft, Nick Millward and Ryan Maxwell. The group play a blend of pop-mod-soul that is commonly referred to by those in the know as "Rock N Roll". Although the members come from all over the USA, they currently call Seattle, Washington home and find artistic inspiration from such local heros as The Fastbacks and The Young Fresh Fellows. Other influences run from Elvis Costello and The Who to You Am I and Sloan.
Even without the You Am I covers, (which are excellent...please keep them coming)you are the best SEAWA band I've seen in a long long time! Great show, great songs, handclaps & ass shaking, drum stick twirling and DJ Kurt Bloch = awesome Saturday night at the Comet! Thanks! xo
