The Steady Boys formed in the October of 2007 and we have gigged relentlessly since then. We have had the pleasure of playing alongside many great bands and artists in this short space of time. We own a (t)rusty old van which we use to get about in, meaning that we are prepared to play just about anywhere!
The Steady Boys have played some fantastic and prestigious venues, some not so great venues but we are very passionate and proud of our background and what we do. We are self-contained in that we have all of our own backline and a 1000w PA system.
Enjoy the tunes, more on the way soon. Let us know what you think.
Cheers and Beers!

WHAT PEOPLE SAY:
"Love your sound you got a real roxy 77' feel i will look forward to seeing you guys live".
Nick Welsh - Skaville UK
"this six-track collection rallies through at an unrelenting pace, with great guitar work and foot tapping ska rhythms".
8/10
Paul Wello - The Specials.com
"This was a true treat for me and a mesmerising performance that I lapped up with glee".
Fungalpunk
"Rewind The Mess' is a masterclass of emotional ska".
"Impressed by this band both 'live' and on CD I am convinced this sharp and readily identifiable unit can only go on to achieve further success and critical acclaim. It's a nice splash of colour to add to many a gig so I suggest that promoters reading this should get on that blower now".
Great to see you lads again for the first time in a while. You were excellent again. Could'nt get to the mic for white man im afraid though as i was in a round with the other steady boys del and dave and it was my turn at the bar. welshing on drinkers of their repute could've damaged my health.
Brilliant gig at The George, Darlington last night, good to meet you lads!! Thanks for the swapsys!! HaHa!! The bottle-opener will come in handy over Christmas!!
Are you doing acoustic stuff first at George like you do Speedwell? think I will pop down 7ish in case you are and give me extra couple of hours for pissup.
Hey guys! I've just added a brand new Jimmy The Squirrel track "Carnival" to the Do The Dog Music Myspace page, so please check it out & let me know what you think! The tune will feature on the band's soon to be released debut full length album, "Business As Usual" on Do The Dog Music!
Assuming we get finished in the next week or so it will about 12 onwards on the Saturday afternoon of the 24th at the Forum. Hope to see you there. Andy
