Forming in later 2006 out of Mustang, Oklahoma, The Surely Method, is a band that is on to something. After talking to countless industry professionals the band has received nothing but positive feedback as well as from their fans. Their Pop/Indie/Rock sound is catching the ears of people from all around the world. Their complex lyrics and original sound is starting to catch on as things are starting to look bright for this talented group. Playing shows across their region, the fans are starting to show their support in ways that the guys never thought would happen.
The Surely Method members include vocalist Jon Malatesta, guitarist Barrett Hilbern, drummer Sean Holmes, and bassist Matt Weis. An entertaining group of guys on and off the stage they will always keep you laughing. Their crazy antics make them a favorite that fans just can’t seem to get enough of. A hilarious group of guys put together with music that people can relate to, what fan could ask for more?
The Surely Method debut album, entitled “Old Love” just recently finished its post production. The album was recorded in Oklahoma City at Studio Seven under the direction of Dave Copenhaven. The 14 tracks of the album is what the guys have been waiting for. Now that they have a final product to promote and send out it’s time and the guys are moving deeper into the music industry. The album brings forth a more progressed sound than has been seen before from The Surely Method. The album is put together for one reason and that’s to blow away everyone who listens to it. All of the industry professionals from various record labels, promoters, and managers have all expressed interest after hearing the unique sound.
The band is now booking their tour for the summer, though they still have a full line up of shows right around their home. The next year will be an exciting time for The Surely Method as hopefully their are even more great things to come than what have thus far. Keep an eye out, The Surely Method is for life and is not going anywhere for a long while.
