Since debuting its sound at the dawn of 2006, Washington DC's The Third Programme have proven themselves one of the area's up-and-coming acts, performing at such local venues as DC9, Galaxy Hut, Iota, and the famed Black Cat, as well as New York City spots The Continental and Arlene's Grocery.
With British rock artists like The Verve, The Stone Roses, Oasis and Doves, along with post punk acts New Order, The Smiths and Echo & the Bunnymen influencing their sound, the Programme's strengths lie in marrying the atmospheric wall-of-sound aesthetic with deep grooves and classic guitar riffs.
Make sure to get a hold of The Third Programme's self-released 5-song EP (recorded at The Bastille)!

Thanks guys. I'd love to be able to make it tonight but I've got a test to study for tomorrow. I don't know about the other guys but they most likely won't be able to make it (Dave just got a new job). Damn weekday gigs! Good luck with it, let me know how it goes.
Good show last night guys. For being such a low key show we had a great time. We're definitely down for playing more shows with you guys in the future. Thanks again!
