The Touch-Me-Nots are a husband and wife 2-piece rock n' roll combo from Oakland, California, USA.
We used to play as half of a 4-piece band, but when the other members left that band, we decided to carry on as a 2-piece, rather than go out looking for new members who might also eventually leave the band.
The Touch-Me-Nots record ourselves on a cassette 4-track. Considering our ineptitude behind the dials, we don't think our handiwork sounds half bad. If you think our songs suck, smoke a turd in hell. We are constantly recording ourselves to improve our engineering skills.
In June 2006, we released our debut 3-song 7" and it is already out of print. You still may be able to get them from Soundflat or Matador.
We just have a 10" released by Yakisakana records and a 7" on Nasty Product. We also have split 7" records with The Grave Blankets and one with The Red Rockets.
We released an lLP on November 9th, 2007. Ordering details above in the blog.

Hey, the new 7" is great (not surprisingly)! Love the Whitney Houston cover, I never would have guessed that's who did the original if I hadn't looked it up.
