"Trainwreck Riders are a rocking in their chair, guitar-pickin' on the porch band from San Francisco. Their debut album ‘Lonely Road Revival’ harkens back to a golden age of Americana, when folk, country and blues musically intertwined (even if the musicians themselves rarely did)...Lyrically lovelorn, nerves raw, and emotions muddled, Trainwreck Riders songs ramble down the briar-filled paths of confused interpersonal relationships. The lyrics may be downbeat, but the music is not, careening headlong into brawling rockabilly and punchy punk blues. But for every exhilarating, slam-bang number, there's a corresponding one with a much more laid-back rhythm, easygoing atmosphere and at times, even dreamy aura. This is Americana for a new America, and as train wrecks go, this one is a beauty."

Howdy, Pete. I finished the recordings I was telling you about. Check 'em out. I would have loved to have you sing backup, but I got overwhelmed and had to keep it real simple.
Whilst riding my bike through Golden Gate park, I happened to stop so that I could go lie in the grass among some pretty trees in the sunlight. I bent down to pick up a button up off the street that looked quite beat up and rusted, but the other side had a pretty sweet picture of a locomotive running down a woman in ropes in front of san francisco houses. The rust added to the charm, naturally. And, of course,it also had the words "Trainwreck Riders" upon it.
It was a charming way to find your music, which I quite like! Good job, fellows.
Damn I missed the MR Tee's show last week...It was a pleasure hanging out at Safari Sam's though, good to see that a rock and roll band still knows how to tour...Hope Austin treated ya well....
