The Trouserlegs of Time is a band containing Luke and Milly and a random assortment of special guests. It's also author Terry Prattchet's way of illustrating a scientific concept concerned with how an infinite amount of parallel universes are formed. Lu Quade is Luke's stage name which he never uses on stage but often employs to mosey around the internet under.
Hey Papa Luqos! I hear congrats are in order! I've been offline for a couple of months but I'm back on (obviously, as I'm sending you this message!) SO what's the goss: boy, girl? How is the little one going? Sorry to hear about your dog - that's no good at all. We put a new song up on the myspace and would LOVE to hear what you think! Hope all is well - talk soon Lenwanita
We really wanted to see the crazy guy in the costume. I even looked on YouTube. So other than that whats up down under? . . . . . Which reminds me. Maybe you have seen a platypus, but have you seen the Aurora Austrialis?
OH NO!!! I can't open the video! Thank you for the very kind words. It means a lot from the King of Australia :) We all say that if we get to go Australia to look at the platypus we would come and visit you with song and dance. Maybe a shirt too.
I saw this site just before and I thought you'd like it. This guy collected a whole heap of Youtube videos of people playing in B flat and you press play on one/some/all of them and they sound amazing together: http://www.inbflat.net/. Definitely something you'll need to save the link to and open at uni (with headphones).
Yo Lukos! We've just put up some newly recorded tracks and would love to hear what you think. These tracks showcase our new 'rockier' direction, and present us as we are on stage - full band, harmonies, live drums, and energy. We hope you like our latest recordings! Cheers, The Havelocks
Hey Lukos! How's things? Became a fan of your facebook equivalent (you should 'suggest' it to all your friends, there's a button on the profile page i think). I just put a new blog up on our myspace about all that is Havelock... you can read it here: http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.ListAll&friendId=337692707
Cool! Some of the best la las! Cheers! I really put up this myspace cos I'm entering a few songs in the abc music awards that the band isn't (some of my more, i dunno, um.. less havelocky songs) Balloons & ballrooms to you :)
oh god, you set me on a good track today, haha - for the first few hours after i got up i just played with that funny voice making thing (that you have in your blog) making weird alien things with scottish accents swear, until i found an old program that you can do funny voices with called 'shit talker' (i'm sure you're familiar with it) and i have been playing with it for hours. it's terrible. i even found a 2009 version of it for mac.
sad to hear that you're having a bit of a shit time :( are your exams/assignments all over for the semester? i'm sure you're still up to your neck in it all.
i've got quite a few week's off, but am spending the next week moving things about. do you have much free time? if you'd prefer we could go for a coffee someplace? otherwise, i might talk to you next week once everything is moved and i could come over one day.
Hey! The next BSRD Kent Hotel Sessions is on THIS COMING SUNDAY 21st JUNE from 2pm! We'd love to see you there, so get in touch! More details on our latest blog! Cheers!
Cool - back to the Gog, would love to get up there.. not sure what the plans are though. Go hard though man :)
Pop on mushrooms? Brilliant... probably the coolest comment we've ever got (a bit more original then the "chanelling John Lennon" bit that my songs usually get). Nah man, I love the idea of my songs being popular - you'd have to be mad to be offended by that. Let's hope that popular "appeal" spreads... Til then...
