BIOGRAFIA.. .... I The Krushers nascono ad Agrigento nel Febbraio del 2001 dall'unione di due Thrash-Core Maniacs - Tony Frenda (S.S.) alla voce e al basso e Giuseppe Peri (UR) alla chitarra. Nel giro di tre giorni viene composto e registrato il materiale che darà vita al primo demotape "The Godz of the Atom's Starz" registrato in presa diretta con l'ausilio di una drum-machine e di un 8 Tx analogico, con la voglia di suonare sporco e d'istinto. Nel demo ci sono due cover non elencate nella track-list quali "Violence and Force" degli Exciter nella Side A e "Killing Tendencies" degli Incinerator (grande gruppo Thrash-core agrigentino attivo dal 1986 al 1990) nella Side B, stravolte nella vena The Krushers. .... Nell'Aprile dello stesso anno esce "Rehearsal Tape 04/01" registrato sempre in presa diretta ma con un 4 Tx ed un nuovo arrivo in formazione: Salvatore Arrigo (H) alla batteria, che sul suddetto demo suona solo su "Sense of Destruction" - "Apollyon Tales" ed "Hashish" (anche questo demotape contiene una cover nascosta, si tratta di "Radiation Sickness" dei Nuclear Assault). .... Il 6 Gennaio del 2002 viene registrato "1985" ovviamente in presa diretta ma questa volta con un mixer 8 canali ed un piastra. Questo nuovo prodotto risulta maggiormente vicino al Grindcore più lercio e minimale. .... Reduci dai numerosi riscontri positivi ottenuti col precedente demotape, il 9 Giugno del 2002 i The Krushers registrano "Mègaloi Théoi" loro quarta fatica come di consueto in presa diretta agli "80 Studio's". Questo nuovo lavoro è sicuramente più "EVIL" e di chiara matrice Black-Thrash: Fornication - Venenum in Ostia - Hordes – Thanatokrat -Mien Kommand - Thanatos/Final Attack - Thelema Ctonia - Hydrogen Robotz più la cover di "Under the Guillottine" dei Kreator. Per quanto riguarda la distribuzione "Megaloi Theoi" è distribuito in Portogallo (WarProduction) Malesia (Steel Madness) e Francia (Ordealis Rec.). .... 14 Dicembre 2003: News dal Sud America, la Kuravilu Prods (Cile) ristampa in edizione limitata a 250 copie "Megaloi Theoi" con l'aggiunta di 5 bonus tracks tratte da "1985" e "Rehearsal Tape 04/01". .... Autunno 2004: la Eyes of the Dead Prod. ristampa in CD - "Megaloi Theoi" (edizione limitata a 666 copie) con l'aggiunta di bonus tracks e con alternative cover disegnata da Kurse. La ristampa, include "Megaloi Theoi", il promo 2004 "Necrofilo" e diverse bonus tracks tratte da "The Godz of the Atom's Starz" e "Rehearsal Tape 04/01". .... Dicembre 2004: il nuovo live tape dei THE KRUSHERS è uscito!!!! Kuravilu Prods edizione limitata a 333 copie. "Kaos At CSOA Excarcere", la copertina è stata disegnata da Braulio Holocausto (Vastator, Necropsia & Toxic Holocaust) 11 live tracks + 1 nuova studio song "Ricordati Ke Devi Morire". Raw as just it was!!!!! .... Aprile 2005: Nuovo ingresso in formazione per i The Krushers, Alessandro Fede (WEHR) al Basso. .... Luglio 2005: esce in cassetta in Sud America per la sempre più attiva Kuravilu Prods (edizione limitata a 400 copie) "Baruch Ashem" il nuovo album dei The Krushers. La stessa label, ha già curato l'edizione cilena di "Megaloi Theoi" e fatto uscire il primo live della band dal titolo "Kaos at CSOA ExCarcere". .... Aprile 2006: esce il Promo 2006 destinato esclusivamente agli "addetti ai lavori" e segna il ritorno a sonorità evil death metal, ritornando ad un'espressione musicale incentrata sulla Morte e i Morti! .... Maggio 2006: H è temporaneamente uscito dal gruppo per motivi di lavoro ed è stato sostituito alla batteria da Salvatore Li Causi (Skizzo). .... Dicembre 2006: Wehr è definitivamente uscito dal gruppo ed i The Krushers sono ritornati un power-trio lavorando alla realizzazione del nuovo album "Processo- Successo…" , 11 nuove thrash core songs cantate in italiano e siciliano più la cover di Ribelle per Moda dei grandissimi Wretched. .... Gennaio 2007: Apocalisse 74 Records ha fatto uscire in CD - The Krushers "omonimo" (edizione limitata a 500 copie) contenente le sei tracce del Promo 2006 con l'aggiunta di Megaloi Theoi (demotape 2002). .... Marzo 2007: esce in cd "Processo – Successo…" autoprodotto dagli stessi The Krushers, registrato e mixato agli '80 studio's (AG) in tre giorni. Questo disco ci riporta a sonorità Thrash/Punx della metà degli anni ottanta, con testi molto crudi e ironici che riflettono il malessere sociale dei nostri giorni. .... Aprile 2007: ennesima uscita in Sud America!!! Il Promo 2006 verrà stampato in pro-tape con il titolo di "As Dead As Death" in 333 copie per la "Kuravilu Prods". Nel frattempo i The Krushers entrano in studio con formazione inedita: S.S. (Voce & Chitarra) - UR (Chitarra) – SKIZZO (Basso) - H (Batteria) e registrano il nuovo album che si intitola "Memorie di un Anticristo", composto da 10 nuove tracce di low-fi black thrash metal più la cover di Demonomania dei Misfits. .... Agosto 2007: il gruppo ritorna in studio con la formazione originale per omaggiare la storia del metal estremo siciliano incidendo quattro covers, rispettivamente due songs degli Schizo e due songs degli Incinerator più l'inedita "Future of The Carcass". Il suddetto lavoro uscirà in pro-tape nel 2010 per Kuravilu Productions con "Megaloi Theoi" come bonus. .... Febbraio 2008: esce la versione in cassetta di "Memorie di un Anticristo" per Kuravilu Productions stampata in edizione limitata a 200 copie, con diversa copertina disegnata da D. Babul. Questo nuovo capitolo della storia dei The Krushers rappresenta sicuramente l'anima "nera" del gruppo. .... Maggio 2008: news dal Sud America!!! "Processo – Successo..." sarà stampato in 500 copie ed uscira in cd per Nino Abuelo Records (Cile). .... Agosto 2008: i The Krushers partecipano ad "Extreme Noise Compilation" una compilation benefit che racchiude un po' tutta la scena punk attuale italiana, passando dall'hardcore al grind. Il pezzo presente sul cd è "Apologia della Violenza". .... Settembre 2008: esce "Reato di Povertà" !!! Cinque nuove songs di denuncia sociale e rabbia hardcore. Autoprodotto, registrato e mixato agli '80 studio's (AG). .... Novembre 2008: Ancora un'altra compilation… Esce in Cile per Kuravilu Prodructions "We Don't Give a Fuck!!!" cd tributo al punk/HC anni '80. Gruppi provenienti da tutto il mondo rifanno pezzi delle glorie dell'hardcore internazionale, i The Krushers coverizzano "Politicians" dei Raw Power, "Ribelle per Moda" dei Wretched e "Marijuana Punk" degli Underage. .... Dicembre 2008: il gruppo ritorna in studio incidendo tre nuovi pezzi e tre cover di Exciter, M.O.D. e R.D.P. con i testi riadattati in siciliano. "Governo Ombra…" questo è il titolo del nuovo EP segna il ritorno al thrashcore di ottantiana memoria con forti dosi di hardcore old school… .... Febbraio 2009: I The Krushers ritornano un four-piece con l'ingresso in formazione della nuova bassista Ghelyn Averna. .... Ottobre 2009: Iniziano le registrazioni di "Sicilia Nucleare", otto nuove songs, nuove versioni di Hashish & Usa la Violenza e le cover di Extreme Noise Terror & Nuclear Assault (Technology che per l'occasione è diventata Jacksonology). Thanks for the inspiration to the following bands: Motorhead, Venom, Exciter, Wretched, Indigesti, EU's Arse, Underage, Upset Noise, Nabat, Rappresaglia, Impact, Negazione, Agnostic Front, Hirax, Kreator, Celtic Frost, Doom, Nuclear Assault, Bulldozer, Incinerator, Schizo, Voivod, Destruction, Carnivore, Sacrifice and Slayer. .... Born in 2001, only as a project by Giuseppe Peri "UR" (guitars/drum machine) and Tony Frenda "S.S." (lead vocals/bass). In this way, after auto-produced a demotape called "The Godz of the Atom's Starz" in February 2001 and receiving a very good responses from the public, with the definitive arrival of Salvatore Arrigo "H" on drums, this project became a real band. .... This album lets think about Thrash/Punx since the 80's, with social-declaration lyrics. .... April 2007: "Promo 2006" released in 333 copies (pro-tapes) for Kuravilu Prods with the title of "As Dead As Death". In the meantime The Krushers return in the studio to record the new album "Memorie di un Anticristo", 10 new tracks of low-fi black thrash metal plus a cover version of Demonomania (Misfits). December 2008: New record! The Krushers return's in the studio and recorded 3 new tracks and 3 cover version of Exciter, M.O.D. e R.D.P. with different lyrics in sicilian.
