Reverie is changing its name to Sylvan
REVERIE - is a one man dark metal band formed by Unknown in 2003.
Reverie is a musical metaphysical journey that leaves humanity and the nadir world to enter the cosmos through unlocking cosmic gateways found in nature. metaphysical audio rituals that reach everything, nothing, infinite light, infinite darkness... and finally enlightenment of the minds eye. So far Reverie has made 1 full length album titled Isolation that was self released in 2007 and ltd to 999 copies. The 2nd Reverie album is in the works. Musically Reverie is deeply rooted in black metal, however mixes many elements from different styles of metal such as doom, thrash, black, death, avantgarde, progressive rock and metal, neo folk, and more, along with acoustic guitar. The term "Progressive" is not the style of Reverie by any means, however progressive is what Reverie is doing with mixing various styles of music while keeping the sound always dark and rooted in black metal.
The new album will no longer be under the name reverie, the bands name will be changed to Sylvan
