| General | See 'About Me' | | Movies | 2005 was a brutal year for movies, I'd write a list of favorites but it may give the reader the impression that I'm a moron (yes, I really liked Mr. & Mrs. Smith!). My favorite movie of the years was definitely Cinderella Man.... the movie where I was checking my watch the most (meaning it sucked) was Sideways... holy pretentious crap.
Some of my all time favorite movies are: The Shawshank Redemption, Any Pixar Animated Film (Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Monsters Inc), Goodfellas, The American President (I can watch it on TBS anytime it's on, and it's on a lot!), '90's Disney Animated Films (Aladdin, Tarzan, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast), Working Title Films (About a Boy, Love Actually, Notting Hill) | | Television | Current TV Addictions: Arrested Development, Gilmore Girls, Lost, Veronica Mars, Joey, Will & Grace, Smallville, Everwood, Alias, Nip/Tuck, The Simpsons, The OC, Reunion (who killed SAM, we'll never know... F*ck you FOX TV), 24, House, Battlestar Galactica, The West Wing, Desperate Housewives (even though it's totally blown this year!)
My TV hall of fame: 90210, Melrose Place, Grosse Pointe, Seinfeld, Friends, Star Trek TNG, DS9 | | Books | Books, I can read my favorites over and over again, here are a few: Any book by Daniel Silva (Incredible spy/espionage/thriller writer), John Grisham (dumb but fun, although I loved THE PARTNER and didn't see the ending coming), Harry Potter, Books about industry titans (Steve Jobs, Lew Wasserman, Bernie Brillstein, Michael Eisner, Ovitz, Katzenberg, Geffen, Speilberg etc...) |
