This band is about Uncle Butcher trying to translate the blues in his own style. The primitive music has been around for decades and now Down South brings the spirit and the rawness of that thing. Some people think the blues music is kind of dead, but the thing is: the Blues Music keeps itself away from the spotlight.
With the base drum and a slide guitar Uncle Butcher plays his own music like a wild preacher screaming and singing loud and proud. In the past, the old society used to be scared of the Blues singers just because they sang about whiskey, prostitutes and the Devil.
Now it is time to change your mind and figure out about the congregation thing and the Gospel Yeah Yeah Sound because thats why the Blues Music is so important. That primitive kind of art can provide you lots of fun and happiness, so what are you waiting for? Lets put our rocking shoes on and dance for hours and hours, time to get up and go down, because the Uncle Butcher is back in town.
