"Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I respect all of the pioneers within Hip Hop. When I'm on the move, I usually have something mentally stimulating like Rakim in my ears. I also love the work ethic of a true artist and revolutionary like Tupac Shakur. As far as the spinning goes, I was heavily influenced by Kid Capri, Jam Master Jay, Jazzy Jeff, Mix Master Ice, Premier, & countless others."

About Daniel M. Johnson | The Untouchable DJ Drastic
Loyalty has been a lost commodity amongst the music industry. In a world of ever changing trends and business partners, DJ Drastic has always stayed a cut above the rest. The saying that loyalty is the key to any man's success remains true in the heart of New York City's Heat. Always staying ardent to his passion, his love for Hip Hop music brought him to great heights...
***A Sincere Message from "NYC's Heat," The Untouchable DJ Drastic***
I would like to acknowledge anyone and everyone who has played a valid role in my life up until this point. For those of you that I do not get to keep up with as often as I would like to, please understand that you are still in my heart and I have not forgotten anyone. Things can get hectic on this end from time to time and the phone does work both ways! Peace to my mother who is the strongest person that can ever influence me. I want to thank The BumSquad DJs, The Coalition Network, and The IKON Group for the support that only a family can embrace upon me. For every club promoter, event organizer, and/or promotional director that has helped me share my talents with the world, I thank you. I want to stress the fact that you will never know where you are going unless you know where you came from. Respect the pioneers of the game and appreciate those that helped you along the way. We still have a quite a road ahead of us. Thank you to every staff member of the various companies that enable me to broadcast to the masses. MIMS! it's our time! Shout to the 6th Man, American King Music, & Digiwaxx camps. Big up to the Real Lyphe family & The Bassmint crew. I would like to thank every record label executive and/or representative that has supported me from the door to the top floor. I will not let any of you down! Much love to DMC World, Scratch DJ Academy, and Hip Hop in general for inspiration. Remember to educate the youth of the four elements. Shout to the entire Brooklyn! To all my people overseas fighting a war that President Bush said was over five years ago, I see you! Shout to all the websites that rock DJ Drastic and/or the brand name. To all my real people and independent ladies, make your own pathes and you will succeed. I promise y'all. Let's get it in the '08 and beyond. No mind to the haters, eventually y'all will self destruct on your own. A big middle finger to the females that didn't want me back in the day. Can you see me now?
Rest In Peace Larry Connolly, Michael Hannaberry, Slavic Brodsky, Michael Mamakas, Mike Brown, Kevin Caron, John Patrick Herbert, Anthony Capaldi, Jenna Bologna, and Jenne Guyette.

"Life is short. Live everyday as if it is your last. Make sure that you leave a positive legacy and you shall live forever in the hearts of those that love you. I would like to take a moment to acknowledge all of those taken before their time. I pray for all of our fallen princesses and soldiers in no specific order to rest peacefully."
