We've been compared to John Foxx era Ultravox, described as 'Pet Shop Boyesque' and told we're 'Nothing like those popular jangly guitar bands, not one little bit'.
!!! WE ARE CURRENTLY PUTTING THE FINISHING TOUCHES TO OUR DEBUT ALBUM SET FOR RELEASE EARLY 2010 SO KEEP CHECKING BACK FOR UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS AND UPDATES ON THE FIRST BATCH OF GIGS FOR THE YEAR!!!
Having played in various guitar bands over the years, we were struggling to find the over-saturated local rock scene inspiring. Whilst sharing a flat together mid 2006 we discovered a solution to our musical frustrations: Band together and turn to our mutual love of early 80's electronica! Using the oldest analogue equipment we could lay our hands on we began writing our first material.
Overcoming an initial lack of keyboarding prowess we have strived to create a sound fusing classic 80's alt-pop with a twisted, experimental edge, contrasting strong melodies and hooks with frenzied beats and furious Moog action! Regularly gigging since 2007, we keep our live set up as 'hands on' and energetic as humanly possible, eschewing laptops, jumping between synths and performing like we mean it!
We have been playing extensively in and around London played venues such as the Notting Hill Arts Club (Back to Nature), the Hope and Anchor, Water Rats, The Purple Turtle and many others. We also recently embarked on a road trip to Berlin to play our debut European show and are currently putting the finishing touches to our debut self produced album set for release early 2010.
Russell Harris - Synths, programming, recording, pressing buttons and untangling wires and rebooting.
David Woods - sings dark, sweet stories of faded glamour and longing with much synth action and Keytaur voguing.
Louisa Strachan - Vocals, soul and synth crazyness.
