"All Verlaines is great, so's the Downes solo album on Matador. All great, all great. To further clarify my position on this I would just like to say here that everything Graeme Downes writes is great, and to resolve any ambiguity in that statement, I would like to restate it using slightly different phrasing: all Graeme Downes is great."
― John Darnielle.
Well... should be pressed in a week or two and thus available on some level. But as for "available" available, in a "get it in stores and send it out for reviews" way, haven't quite sorted how I'm gonna play that little game yet. And you??
Please check out our new comedic “vampire bankers” music video. The guy who directed this also directed Madonna’s first music vid. We think it’s pretty funny. It’s available as a free mp3 download on http://www.ukejackson.com
Thanks for being our friend! Uke Jackson and the NY Ukulele Ensemble

To Tuaoloa, Edwina and Katherine
Sweeping the floor I found a photo of you 1934, a black fox straddles your broad shoulders
It was beneath the old dresser beside the old singer, that crooner sewed Sunday best; daughter’s white Sunday dress
Flying foxes terrify your daughter, who hates them more than snakes that bite young legs
a transistor hangs in the fale red, languid, a gift from a son for the return home no AA’s - it is 1974 after all
Dry-docked his first call, his mother’s baby sister, his favorite Aunty, who sings and tells him stories he has never heard before.
Sweeping out the fale, dust a flock of manu’sina, hitting the sun, heading for perches in the low hanging hands of children playing.
