Punk, hardcore, heavy metal & rock'n'roll... These are the fuels needed to make everything react together chemically to create the maximum speed and high energy exhibited by Tokyo Number 1 rock band!
.... THE VICKERS!!!
With a bass sound that raises a groan, twin guitars piercing like the razor and sticks and drums that back up the grit, you will be blown away by the live action that you cannot take your eyes of!!
The four members of THE VICKERS were originally rocking around TOKYO,and the world,in different bands before the plan was set.
KENTA(guitar) was originally slamming out his heavy metal guitar attack in TOKYO's club scene with the popular REAL SHIT when he met up the energetic ex-THUG MURDER bassist Chisato.
After many nights of beers and cheers, their loose plan started to from.
They realized their destiny and by mid 2003,what became was THE VICKERS.
Punks are made go mad by the beat that shakes all-Japan and Asia, to say nothing of Tokyo!!!
It wasn't long before they were signed to their first record deal, a five song mini album called, "Stab Your Back", on Pig Nose Records released in the summer of 2003 which sold out 1000 copies with in a year!!
By December 2004, The Vickers released their second highly acclaimed album on Pig Nose Records called, "You're Gonna Be Action." This album highlights their talent and high energy rock and roll spirit.
THE VICKERS are a very determined and hard working band that can't sit still! By the end of this year, they would of seen five full Japanese tours, two awesome appearances at Taiwan's largest alternative festival, the Formoz Festival, and countless other local Tokyo club appearances. In addition to that, they somehow found the time to write and release their newest album on Pig Nose Records called
"Wake Again". This 9 song album released in July of this year has already gotten exccelelnt reviews and attention. And will have another split release this December with California's The Queers, and Taiwan's The Meek.
But it is the live act that keeps the crowd coming back for more! These guys are all seasoned veterans of the stage and live for bringing down the house with their rockin?f sound! Chisatos flurry of fingers were heard in Thug Murders USA and EU tour supporting Dropkick Murphys Sing Loud and Sing Prouds Tour in 2001, while Kentas screaming leads were heard when playing with the Real Shit on a western USA tour in 2002. Not to be outdone.
In true maniacal and determined fashion, THE VICKERS will be recording their fourth album in the spring of 2006. Stayed to because you're gonna be action!!!!

Hut Ab geht in die 3. Runde
