Bio:

The Wild Sea, the new band out of Boston, is comprised of former members of Amusia & RUTH.

Nashville's Ruth Peterson and brothers Matt & Todd Russell have been bringing their own sound to the Boston Pop scene since 2000, sharing the stage with acts Buffalo Tom, Kay Hanley (Letters to Cleo), Will Dailey, and Loveless, to name a few. The Wild Sea is currently recording a new release for 2010.

In 2005, Under the band name Amusia, they released 'Way Back Down', produced by Matt Russell, mixed by Matt Russell and Tom Polce (CBS Records). In late 2006 the band began recording a new CD "On Every Road."

At the start of 2007 Ruth was diagnosed with cancer. After undergoing major surgery and 6 months of chemo she is excited to be singing again, the band couldn't be more proud.

The Wild Sea is now joined by Phil Aiken-touring keyboardist for Buffalo Tom/Bill Janovitz/Lemonheads, Matt Tahaney bassist of Bill Janovitz Crown Victoria, and Frank Moratta Jr guitarist of Ann Heaton.
