1997 :
Thierry Zaboitzeff se sépare du groupe Art Zoyd et monte son propre studio.
A ce moment, vont se succéder de multiples projets sous son nom ou en association à des metteurs en scènes et chorégraphes : (Editta Braun / Beda Percht / Eric Lacascade / Stéphane Vérité / Hubert Lepka…) Véritable sculpteur d’espaces sonores, il parvient à s’intégrer à des univers très différents et participe à des projets et événements qui seront présentés un peu partout dans des capitales européennes…
2002 :
sous le nom de son nouveau groupe : “Zaboitzeff & Crew“ il crée pour le Bruckner-Festival au Posthof (Linz-A) La “Missa Furiosa” Messe chantée en Latin pour un ensemble Techno-Pop et chanteurs Lyriques. Ce spectacle entre Rock-Techno et classique sera repris ensuite en tournée.
2004 :
Zaboitzeff & Crew signe une adaptation électro de chants religieux du XIIIe siècle : “Libbre Vermell” création à Salzburg (A)
2005 :
Thierry Zaboitzeff est invité à composer la musique d’un spectacle Hommage à Jules Verne : “Voyage au centre de la terre” interprétée en direct par Zaboitzeff & Crew au stade de France Paris St Denis en Décembre 2005.
De 1997 à 2007, il produit 11 Albums entre Rock symphonique, musique électronique et acoustique.

1997 :
Thierry Zaboitzeff leaves Art Zoyd and opens his own studio.
Beginning at that moment, he engages in many projects either under the aegis of or in association with several directors and choreographers : Editta Braun / Beda Percht / Eric Lacascade / Stéphane Vérité / Hubert Lepka ... A veritable sculptor of sonic spaces, he integrates himself within very different universes, and he participates in projects and events that are presented throughout the various European capitals.
2002 :
With his new group, “Zaboitzeff & Crew,” he creates “ Missa Furiosa” for the Bruckner Festival at Posthof, Linz (A). This Latin mass for techno-pop ensemble and lyrical singers, which is situated somewhere in between techno-rock and classical on the spectrum of musical genres, is later taken on tour.
2004 :
Zaboitzeff & Crew creates an electronic adaptation of a collection of 13th -century religious hymns, ““Libbre Vermell” which they perform in Salzburg.
2005 :
Thierry Zaboitzeff is invited to compose the music for a performance in homage of Jules Verne: “Journey to the Center of the Earth,” performed live by Zaboitzeff & Crew at the Stade de France, Paris, St. Denis, in December 2005.
From 1997 to 2007, he created 11 albums, which are situated somewhere among the genres of symphonic rock, electronic music, and acoustic music.

Komponiert seit 1971 gemeinsam mit Gérard Hourbette für ART ZOYD eine radikal neue Musik, in der traditionell akustische Instrumente mit neuen elektronischen und elektro-akustischen Technologien verbunden werden.
Seine Instrumente: Violoncello, elektrischer Bass, Gitarren (elektrisch und akustisch), Perkussion, Keyboards, Gesang; Programmierung und elektronische Realisation, Samplers.
Art Zoyd
war eine der ersten experimentellen französischen Rockgruppen.
Mit der live gespielten Musik zu Murnaus Stummfilm Nosferatu (1988) bereisen Art Zoyd Festivals weltweit. Thierry Zaboïtzeff komponierte zusammen mit Art Zoyd u.a. für Roland Petit und die Mailänder Skala, live gespielt für Aufführungen im Théâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris, Marseille, Bordeaux, in Italien, Japan und den USA. 1997 verläßt Zaboitzeff Art Zoyd.
Zusammenarbeit mit Regisseuren und ChoregraphInnen:
Philippe Asselin, Stéphane Vérité, Eric Lacascade (Nationaltheater von Caen und Strasbourg), Beda Percht (z.B. Erhebung der Salzburger Altstadt zum Weltkulturerbe u.v.a.), Hubert Lepkas Open-Air Event "Mc Cartney’s Letter" u.a. Seit 1997 Zusammenarbeit mit der österreichischen Choreographin Editta Braun.
Aufführungen in Frankreich, Belgien, Schweiz, Österreich, Großbritannien, Holland, Spanien, Deutschland, Estland, Ungarn, Italien, Skandinavien, Tschechien, Ukraine, Rußland, beim Hong-Kong-Arts Festival und am Adélaïde Festival in Australien, in den USA und Japan.
Musik für 12 Videofilme, präsentiert auf diversen Festivals und durch folgende Fernsehstationen: ORF / RTBF / ARTE / MTV / TV5 / TF1 / FR2 / FR3 / CANAL + / RAI 1 / RTL / SSR / ARD/ M6.
Musik für den Dokumentarfilm „Africa Representa“ (2003) und das Kulturuniversum „Diesseits von Afrika. Entdeckung Lesachtal“ (2004), beides in der Regie von Harald Friedl.
Veröffentlichung von 15 CDs mit Art Zoyd (seit 1976) und 10 Soloalben bzw. mit „Zaboitzeff & Crew“.

Musiktheaterprojekt „MISSA FURIOSA“:
Die Musiktheaterproduktion „Missa Furiosa“ , inszeniert von Stéphane Vérité, wurde im Rahmen des Brucknerfestes Linz am 24. September 2002 uraufgeführt, auf CD erschienen bei Intoxygène/Paris.

Am 17. und 19. Dezember 2005 wurde das größte Station Europas, das „Stade de France“ in Paris in einen Vulkan verwandelt – zum Musik- und Projektionsevent über Jules Verne’s „Reise zum Mittelpunkt der Erde“ komponierte Thierry Zaboitzeff die Musik und interpretierte diese live gemeinsam mit seinen österreichischen Musikern.
