The Afghan Whigs, Guns 'n Roses, Sunny Day Real Estate, Say Anything, Live, Coheed, Josh Rouse, The Twilight Singers, Teenage Fanclub, Gratitude, Eels, The Starting Line, Fall Out Boy, New End Orignial, Fire When Ready, Wilco, Spoon, Silverchair, and many other bands we sound nothing like.
So I’m pretty tired of (unsuccessfully) looking for talented and driven musicians in my little town. In the meantime, I write and record at home in the hopes of eventually finding a band to collaborate, record, and perform with. I’m considering re-recording some older material I’ve written/co-written, which you can find available here (recorded under the ill-chosen "Dick’s Loft" name, from two of our three demo LPs). I’d appreciate any feedback - pro or con - and the songs will likely change every so often as I try to come up with a new album of 12 or so tracks; and so too will the band name change, since the "band" for now consists of me...
hehe. The picture did not come with me. Facebook seems more... sedate and repressed to me. ;) But I like it better because there are so many of my high school and work friends on there. How is the family? Another Christmas! The little one will have so much fun this year!!
Very shocking!! I love it! It happens to be one of my greater bad habits! Among other things of course... Although I don't generally consider it a bad habit, the people on the other end of it usually do. LOL

Umm...I'm almost buying the excuse for last Saturday. Face it, you are just getting old!! :~) We're planning a day out in Nov. so i'll be sure to let you know.

Sorry about the disappearing act. Things have just been so crazy around here lately. Not enough hours in the day...I'm sure you know all about that too. I've looked for you a few times but apparently not the right times.:-) Glad to hear you made the golf course--I'd be disappointed if you hadn't. Although, I am disappointed that no drivers were broken in the process. Sigh... LOL
