Thanks for the comment mate. Yeah these new ones are a bit different to how I've been working in the past. The way I wrote these new songs ... I do the basic instrumental ... send it to my old mate who lives in Australia... then he sort of extracts the bassline and reworks the whole instrumental somehow and sends it back to me a day or so later ... then I stick my vocals on his reworking of the song.
We only just got back in touch a few weeks ago through Facebook, I haven't seen him for years , but we were very close friends... he was like the lead guitarist in an old band I used to sing in... was my best man when I got married actually! We work well together... we have a sort of psychic link when it comes to music.
