This Level Is Clouds! is a revolving set of musicians playing rock and/or roll music written by me, Michael Texas. We play when we can & where we can, & every tour and release is unique in some way. The band has changed alot since its first inception in bedrooms & basements circa 2002-3-4.
Since then, This Level Is Clouds! has played shows all over the place (& met some great artists & amazing fans & friends). We've become known for our ever changing format. 3 & 4 piece rock lineups, a guitar/drums/bass/electronics duo with a makeshift light show, solo guitar and electronics loop shows, acoustic shows, two piece guitar and drum shows, and more to come.
My goal with this music is just to know that somebody somewhere out there in this fucked up & amazing world is getting something from it. The thought that I can connect to somebody I don't know (and in ways I'll never truly understand) through my music astounds me.
Some clear evening, I want to find myself & my friends in your town. Far from my home. And we'll all laugh and yell and drink and talk and be happy.
