Thoby Loth was founded in 2007. A relatively new progressive rock band with a Nordic sound along with medieval and oriental influences, Thoby Loth is bound to take your mind on a fantastic journey with their imaginative and intensive sounds.
The music, composed and arranged entirely by band leader Tobias Tåg (the band's flutist and keyboard player) is inspired by fairy tales and elemental beings. The compositions are then put into a progressive rock context in the rehearsals, where all band members contribute with their own personal flavor to Tobias' music.
Like our album, Lägereldarnas Tid, our concerts and live performances are like a story, with the focus on a wholesome experience for the listener. All songs belong together to form a consistent musical tale. The music changes from soft and melancholic to big and heroic, ensuring there's something in it for everyone.
Tobias, Peter and Roger have known each other their entire lives and they all come from the same small village of Pörtom (Pirttikylä in Finnish). Having worked together before in different settings, they were used to working with each other. Daniel comes from Vaasa and met with the other guys in 2006.
Our timeless music tells a colorful story full of emotion and action. Hope you enjoy!

Arrrrrgggghhhhh!!! Märkte just att jag kommer att vara på tjänsteresa 26 - 27 augusti och missar Spotlight :( Sånt borde vara i lag förbjudet. Men så kom jag på en lösning på problemet: jag kan böna och be att När-TV filmar så får jag se er keikka ändå :) Nå vi får se hur det blir med den saken och det kommer ju andra konserter, men nog ska det nu råka sig också. Hoppas ni får en riktigt fin sommar :)
