  • Bio

Threshold Sicks is the product of a warped hive mind!.... Since the seeds were sown back in the early/mid nineties, by founding members Greg McKenzie-Milne and Paul Macmillan, the pair have been slaves to this intangible entity. Through various line-up and name changes, they have developed the molten core of the band's sound. Gracing the stage over the years alongside quality UK underground acts such as Panic Cell, Dragged Into Sunlight, Co-Exist, Bloodshot Dawn and Bleed From Within, to name a few, they are now the best kept secret Scotland has to offer. In 2007, with the addition of Ivan Sveda and Phil Malloch, the boat has been well and truly pushed out in terms of hard graft and dedication. Known to many for their brutal live performances and extreme, original sound, they are fast building a reputation which is taking them further and further afield. With tours in Scotland, Ireland and England, as well as a return to Slovakia, all planned in the next eight months, this is a reputation which is only going to grow. Their debut full-length – The Scorpion Ensemble – is fully recorded and Threshold Sicks are in the process of drumming up support, with great local and international anticipation, and look set to hammer home their status as a true underground powerhouse.
