We want to thank everyone who has supported us and been there for us the past 3 years. Really...thank you so much. Unfortunately all good things do come to an end, and its bittersweet, but it is time for all 5 of us to move on in life. Read the blogs for messages from all of us if you want and there will be one last Through a Glass show December 27th. We'll let you know more details as it happens. Thank you so much.
Through a glass
Ironically enough, tragedy and comedy are common threads running through the story of Through A Glass.
Beginning as a six-piece band in 2005, Through A Glass had a grass roots beginning, playing at local schools, clubs, and churches. Now the band is what many would call “on the verge” as they progress at a rapid pace. The band was in the midst of recording their first full-length project in the summer of 2006 when singer/keyboard player, 16 year-old Nathan Johnson was killed in a car accident. This tragedy sparked a fire in the lives and music of the band and they released the record in his memory, titled “Called Out: A Tribute”, in November of 2006. From there, the band began to ride a wave of open doors, as the tide began to change. The band took time to recollect, heal, and then began to write music and play again.
The remaining five members have certainly grown into their sound and have developed a truly original presentation. Front man Jeremiah Barnes, who draws comparisons to Jeff Buckley and Gerard Way, leads the pack with an impressively consistent voice that boasts of purity and strength. Big Red, the bands powerhouse background vocalist and rhythm guitarists certainly stands out in personality and talent. The band’s rhythm section consists of driving force Jeremy Brown on drums, and Tyler Ricker rockin’ hard on bass. These two allow the band to blend classic feels with modern pop/rock. Philip Revell, the bands left handed lead guitarist, brings about original riffs and eclectic style that allows Through A Glass to stand out among the rest.
The band’s newest studio project, “Tragedy vs. Comedy”, (Produced by Pete Thornton and Brooks Paschal)released on December 27, 2007 and was a true testimony to the band’s maturity as artists. The band was able to truly flex it’s creative muscles and are very pleased to present the project that they have been sitting on for so long. Even from the first listen, this band provides a fresh musical experience and almost always ensures a second listen.
This is a band that will not fade nor be forgotten. They have truly been prepared for a time such as this.

Benjamin(Ben) Neal-
on saturday, july 12th,2008 Ben lost his life in an accident. i know he now is with God, who has a place for him.
the second guy, Chase Latimer, was also severely hurt. he has 17 different breaks in his ribs, a crushed pelvis, internal bleeding, and swelling in his brain. they had to cut out part of his skull to drain fluids. isn't this horrible?
this is where I'm worried.
Chase Latimer didn't know the Lord. Please pray for him that he's able to get out of his coma and know God.I love both of these kids to death, literally. I just pray that chase becomes saved if the lord decides to take him. yeah, and i meant kids a few lines up, they are both only 16.
If anyone would like to come, the funeral for Ben Neal is Wednesday, july 16,2008 at 2:00
the Visitation is today, Tuesday july 15,2008 from 3:00-8:00
oh and, also; If Chase lives, he will most likely have brain damage, and will have to learn basic motor skills all over again. He is at Vanderbuilt hospital if anyone would like to go see him.
i wasn't even joking when i said you're my new favorite band. your ministry is amazing. your music sweeps people up in this crazy hurricane and doesn't put them back down. and that's hard to do, captivate an audience like that. but you guys did. both shows i saw this week were amazing. keep on keepin' on. because you guys are going to change the world.
