Alright, here's the deal....
Thundercracker is a band created by me, J. Thomas, to showcase my songwriting and riffing work. Little did I know that I would wind up with 50 plus demos in a folder on my computer, and still no help. I have no bandmates, no budget, no expert gear or know-how. I've got Jack and Shit, and Jack left town.
So what you hear today is demo work done in my bedroom, on my shitty computer, with my shitty gear, and my shitty attitude.
I write music, I love music. That's never going to change. That's why the demo count is way over 50 now. I cut a demo of a tune, write another one. I assumed that at some point someone would hear something they liked, wanna join up and play with me, or sign me, or give the music a chance. That has not happened. It's probably because of my location, but I can't fix that without money - and I'm a common guy with bills and low pay.
So I'm going to keep putting demos up...hoping someone out there at least likes the songs for themselves. I don't have to be rich or famous, it's just good to know that people like my tunes and understand why I'm under thumb.
So if you dig it...thank you. VERY MUCH. When someone says the music rocks, a small part of my dream comes true. The dream gets harder to make a reality with each passing day, week, month....but that doesn't mean it dies. It will never die.
