Their name, THY WILL BE DONE, is a perfect fit for this unique group from Providence, RI. It compliments both their explosive musical drive and the message they bring as a reaction to the "second-rate" commercial bands that use their stature and gimmicks to sell their senseless negativity and hopeless, nihilistic world views.
THY WILL BE DONE's debut album "Was And Is To Come" was released in the United States via Jamey Jasta's own Stillborn Records with EMI handling the distribution. The debut has also seen a Japan release through Toy's Factory Records. "Was And Is To Come" debuted at No. 9 on the BillboardHeatseekers Chart on the first week of it's release. The album was Produced, Engineered and Mixed by Zeuss (Shadows Fall, Hatebreed) with Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed as Executive Producer and displays a strong and distinct mix of influences.
THY WILL BE DONE recently headlined a near 2-week tour in Japan as well as provided direct support to Killswitch Engage on their Japan tour this past June. Their debut has already started to receive stellar reviews from Metal Edge Magazine, Outburn Magazine, AMP Magazine, Hails & Horns Magazine and RUIN Magazine, the band has been seen on tour with or supporting the likes of Hatebreed, Machine Head, Amon Amarth, Crowbar, Dying Fetus, Agnostic Front, God Forbid, Arch Enemy, Kingdom Of Sorrow, Five Finger Death Punch, Sworn Enemy, Full Blown Chaos, and Origin among others, and the band were Main Stage & Second Stage performers at both the 9th & 10th AnnualNew England Metal & Hardcore Festival and have gained the interest of many fans from the different branches of extreme music.
Their songs and arrangements echo the voice of the oppressed and those whom sought much needed change in these turbulant times. THY WILL BE DONE coalesce the unorthodox balance of some of the most bludgeoning music with thought provoking lyrics that are both spiritually and emotionally uplifting.
