Tim has a new (self-titled) album coming out in October/2010 with a release party scheduled at the Cadillac Lounge in Toronto on October 23rd..............Tim Bovaconti grew up on Ward's Island where he played his first gig at the age of 14.Since then Tim has fronted a few bands (The Love Cows,Pop Vultures) and developed a reputation as a talented multi-instumentalist, performing, touring and recording with the likes of Ron Sexsmith,Burton Cummings,Leonard Cohen, Kim Stockwood, The Sattalites, Jason Wilson,Fergus Hambleton,Dave Swarbrick (Fairport Convention),Dick Gaughan,Strato-Chief, The Supers, Andrea Koziol, Shonen Knife, Jerry Lee Lewis, Lost Dakotas, Bob Egan (Blue Rodeo), Andy Kim ("Sugar,Sugar"), Mad Violet,Sean Cullen,Revival Dear,The Nines, Robbie Roth and many others.He is also in demand as a producer having helped out Toronto songwriting talent Jerry Leger and his band the Situation on their past 3 albums as well as working with James Mckie on his upcoming release. Tim is currently guitarist with Canadian rockers Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman (as a member of Bachman-Cummings as well as lead guitarist in Burton Cummings' band) and recently recorded lead guitars/lap steel in Los Angeles with Burton for his album release "Above the Ground".Tim recently toured Europe with Ron Sexsmith and has been playing shows (including the Barenaked Ladies' Ships and Dip cruiseship) with comic Sean Cullen. In late 2004 "Bover-Not Live at Budokan",Tim's first solo album was independently released. Contributors to the album include Toronto music scene stalwarts Maury Lafoy, Kevin Fox, Fergus Hambleton, Paul Brennan, Chris Whiteley, Blake Manning, Peter Fusco, Peter Nunn, Sara Mcelkerin, Bob Mckitrick and Doug Romanow.
